From small scouts over a good range of ship classes up to the most important carrier, everything is often piloted from the cockpit or an external view. an enormous focus within the development of X4 has been to realize a seamless and immersive experience when moving between ships. you'll leave a ship, alight a ladder, beat the dock of an outsized space platform into another ship you'll have parked there, and replace the pilot that was working for you only by clicking on his chair.
Building space stations and factories have always been the foundation of the X games. After gaining enough money through fighting or trading, most players want to determine their own economy and begin influencing the universe on a bigger scale. In X4, it's now possible to be completely free and artistic. Stations are often constructed from a spread of modules, be it production modules, living sections, docks, or many other sorts of parts. The powerful new map system allows you to tug and connect modules employing a connection system to style your own unique creations. Ships also offer a spread of upgrades.
